GOLDEN: Priest Sport 2013
The conception of this design spawns from a desire for speed acceleration. When you get on this bike it wants to go fast. The two greatest things I noticed when I took it for a drive was how fast it accelerates and how it maintains its speed once your up there. The Frame is super responsive and feels like an extension of your body as though a thousand nerve endings are making there way from you through the bike and to the road.
DORKS: Because it is so stiff, little mechanical energy is lost though the power transfer when accelerating or from front end absorption. This is due to a few key factors
One: The UBER over sized head tube and the 1.5" tapered ENVE carbon steerer.
Two: Super stiff Columbus Life Chain stays and the arrow wing like Life Down tube.
Three: Oversized BB30 for maximum transfer and minimal flex
The Custom S-Bend seat stays keep all this in check when back in the saddle providing the flex for longer distance rides.
Other features include the slight sloping top tube, closing the main triangle and stiffening up the front end, TIG welded construction, Lamborghini Gallardo Oro Elios Metalic gold paint and a whole lotta love.
This bike was custom made for Kris Hicks who will be thrashing Manhattan, six foot five and happy as pie.
